D. UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY

1. Open the box and remove the top layer of protective

foam. The following items will now be visibIe:

CD-1 integrated CD player

AC power cord

’

CD- 1RC RemOte Control

AAA batteries for CD-1RC

packet containing the Owners Reference and

warranty card

NOTE: If any of these items are not included please

contact your authorized dealer immediately f6r assis-

tance.

2. Remove the contents from the second layer of foam

and set them aside for later use. Carefully remove the

unit from its box and remove the protective plastic wrap.

NOTE: Save all packing.materials. If you must ship your

CD-1 in the future repack tlae unit. in its original pa.ckag-

ing to prevent transit damage. If ttle unit is returned to

KRELL for service please send the remote control.

3. Remove _the shipping transport screws from the_

bottom o1" the unit. Their locations are marked with a

sticker on the bottom of the chassis.

CAUTION: FAILURE TO REMOVE TRANSPORT

SCREWS BEFORE OPERATION COULD RESULT IN

DAMAGE TO THE TRANSPORT.

4. Remove the voltage identification sticker from the

back of the unit.
